The founder of the AI startup 3DLook and a partner of the Ukrainian venture fund Geek Ventures, has launched the holding company Rebel Capital, which has already made its first acquisition.

Vadym Rogovskyi's new holding, Rebel Capital, will focus on acquiring mature IT companies.

Rogovskyi's new strategy involves not writing checks for young startups but instead acquiring established U.S.-based companies that have been in the market for a long time or startups that have lost their growth momentum.

Rogovskyi's partner in Rebel Capital is investor Hanna Markovska, who has 10 years of experience in the financial sector. She previously worked at UBS and Deutsche Bank.

On April 11, Rebel Capital acquired the American event organization platform Leadature, which has been operating in the market for 17 years. The company is valued at $1.5 million.

Vadim Rogovskyi is known for founding the AI startup 3DLook and investing in 53 startups through the Geek Ventures fund, which he co-founded with Ihor Makhaniok in December 2021. At the end of 2024, Rogovskyi stepped away from managing Geek Ventures but remained a partner.
