Nova Poshta has announced a new stage of development in the Czech Republic and reported investments of over 6 million Czech koruna into its own logistics ecosystem in this market.

According to the company, Nova Poshta already operates 22 branches in 15 cities in the Czech Republic, more than 6,500 partner pick-up points, as well as address delivery and parcel pickup services across the country. One of the key elements of this infrastructure is its own customs warehouse, which effectively functions as a regional logistics hub. Thanks to it, the operator can independently handle customs clearance 24/7 and is less dependent on external partners in this critical part of the logistics chain.

The company has also expanded its coverage by integrating the OX Box parcel locker network, adding another 570 new points. In total, Nova Poshta customers in the Czech Republic now have access to more than 3,500 parcel lockers from various networks, including ALZA box, GLS, and OX Box. Together with branches and partner pick-up points, the service network is significantly broader than just the company’s own physical presence in the country.

Another important step is cooperation with UPS’s Czech division. This partnership has enabled Nova Poshta to deliver shipments to 187 countries and territories. As a result, the Czech infrastructure is becoming not only a local service network but also a hub for international logistics.

By the end of the year, the operator plans to open 30 more branches and add 2,500 additional service points. The company also intends to develop seven-day-a-week delivery, next-day service, one-hour parcel pickup, and delivery and handling of oversized shipments.

In effect, Nova Poshta in the Czech Republic is moving beyond the model of “a service for Ukrainians abroad” and building a full-scale local logistics system.
