Nestlé plans to increase its investment in the pasta factory in Volyn Oblast to €70 million by the end of 2027.

This was announced by Alessandro Zanelli, CEO of Nestlé in Ukraine and Southeast Europe, in a column for NV.

He reminded that production at the new factory began in April 2025. The initial investment amounted to €43 million, and the company now expects a return on this investment in the form of profit.

“When we looked at our ability to generate products, we saw excellent results, and there’s no need to move production elsewhere. For this reason, we continue to invest in production and will expand it,” Zanelli noted.

According to him, the factory will be able to produce 40 tons of vermicelli per year. The products will be exported not only to European countries but also to the USA and Mexico.

“Every year we invest about €10 million in improving the quality of our production and its maintenance,” Zanelli added.

He also noted that in 2025 Nestlé invested approximately UAH 9.5 billion in Ukraine. The funds were allocated to promotions, innovations, and brand development.
