At NATO headquarters in Brussels on June 18, another meeting of NATO defense ministers will take place.
This is reported on the alliance’s website.
According to the announcement, the meeting—chaired by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte—will include discussions within the Nuclear Planning Group format and a session of the North Atlantic Council at the level of defense ministers.
Before the start of the meeting, ministers will briefly speak to the press, and at 14:00 Brussels time the NATO Secretary General will hold a press conference.
The meeting is the final preparatory stage ahead of the NATO leaders’ summit in Ankara on July 7–8.
In the afternoon of June 18, a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (the “Ramstein” group) is also expected at NATO headquarters.
