Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended for another three months

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law approving the President's decree on extending martial law in Ukraine from May 9 for 90 days, that is, until August 7, 2025.

This was reported on Telegram by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of parliament from the Holos (Voice) faction.

He specified that the draft law "On approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine 'On the extension of the period of martial law in Ukraine'" (No. 13172) was supported by 357 members of parliament, and "On approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine 'On the extension of the period of general mobilization'" (No. 13173) — by 346 MPs.

 

 

Accordingly, the period of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine has been extended from May 9 for 90 days, that is, until August 7, 2025.
