Market near Odessa damaged in overnight Russian strike

Russian forces struck a market on the outskirts of Odessa overnight, damaging retail pavilions. Three people were injured.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“Overnight, Russian forces struck a market on the outskirts of Odessa. Retail pavilions were damaged. A 58-year-old security guard was injured in the attack. He was hospitalised in moderate condition. Doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance,” Kiper said.

 

Kiper later added that the number of injured had risen to three.

“The number of people injured in the attack on a market on the outskirts of Odessa has risen to three. Two more men, born in 1972 and 1978, sought medical assistance,” Kiper wrote.

The regional governor added that the injured were provided with medical assistance at the scene.
