Maersk Ukraine Ltd, the official representative office of international shipping and logistics group A.P. Moller-Maersk, has announced that it is ending cooperation with a terminal in Boryspil, Kyiv region, operated by Bit Vantage LLC, citing operational reasons.
“Please be advised that, for operational reasons, Maersk Ukraine is discontinuing operations with the Boryspil terminal operated by Bit Vantage LLC,” the company said on its Telegram channel.
The company noted that customers whose import cargo has not yet arrived at the terminal, is currently in transit or is scheduled for shipment should contact representatives of the intermodal department for further information.
“We apologise for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,” Maersk Ukraine said.
In July, Danish company Maersk temporarily suspended further services to Ukraine via the Black Sea Fish Port due to Russian strikes on its infrastructure.
In early August, the company introduced a temporary rail service between Constanța in Romania and Ukrainian terminals due to the ongoing situation at ports in the Odessa region. The service was expected to operate for both imports and exports until October 1, 2026, or until the situation stabilises.
