Luxembourg to allocate one million euros for psychosocial support of Ukrainian teenagers and youth
According to Ukrinform, this was announced by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, on Facebook. According to the First Lady, together with the team of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, she met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, during his visit to Kyiv.
During the meeting, Bettel announced that Luxembourg would allocate 1 million euros for the foundation’s project aimed at providing psychosocial support to Ukrainian teenagers and youth.
As the President’s wife emphasized,
“Luxembourg is a reliable partner of the Ukrainian people, supporting us since the first days of the full-scale invasion – in many areas, from humanitarian, military, and energy assistance to diplomatic support at the international level.”
She added,
“We had the opportunity to discuss in more detail a new direction of the foundation’s activities that we are actively working on: psychosocial support for teenagers and youth. This is an extremely important project for us, because today teenagers and youth in Ukraine are not just growing up and living under the sound of sirens and explosions – they face anxiety, loss, uncertainty, and everything that war brings every day.”
Zelenska expressed her gratitude to Luxembourg for this step and for its comprehensive support of Ukraine.
