Russian forces continued attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day, killing at least six people and injuring dozens more as strikes targeted residential areas/
In the Kherson region, nine people were injured as Russian troops carried out drone attacks, airstrikes and artillery shelling on dozens of settlements, including Kherson, Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka and Stanislav. According to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin, the attacks damaged an apartment building, 11 private homes, an administrative building, a store, a cultural institution and civilian vehicles.
Heavy shelling was also reported in the Sumy region, where Russian attacks killed four civilians and injured nine others. The strikes hit 44 settlements across the Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka and Konotop districts.
A 38-year-old man was killed in the Khotin community in a drone strike. In the Hlukhiv community, two men aged 52 and 58 were killed, while eight more residents — including elderly women aged 86 and 92 — were wounded. In the Buryn community, a Russian drone struck a civilian vehicle, killing a 48-year-old woman and injuring a 58-year-old man.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were killed and six injured during a nighttime Russian attack on the city of Dnipro. Regional governor Oleksandr Hanza said the strikes damaged a food warehouse, private homes and vehicles.
Five of the injured were hospitalized, with three reported in serious condition. Among them are a 42-year-old woman and men aged 47 and 25. Additional attacks damaged an enterprise in the Petrykivka community, while artillery and drone strikes in the Nikopol district damaged homes, businesses and cars.
Zaporizhzhia region also came under massive fire, with Russian forces launching 909 strikes on 42 settlements over the course of the day. According to regional governor Ivan Fedorov, seven people were injured in attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and the surrounding district, including three children.
Russian troops carried out 21 airstrikes, launched nearly 600 drones — mostly FPV types — and shelled frontline communities with artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. Authorities received 95 reports of damage to homes, infrastructure, vehicles and farm buildings.
In the Kharkiv region, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 21 settlements, killing one person and injuring six, including a child. A 75-year-old woman was killed in Shevchenkove, while other civilians were injured in Spodobivka, Svitlychne and Kharkiv itself, including a 16-year-old girl. Strikes involved drones and other munitions, damaging homes, warehouses and railway infrastructure.
Local authorities also reported extensive destruction across multiple districts, including damaged administrative buildings, private homes, storage facilities and agricultural equipment.
Russian forces injured 11 civilians in Ukraine’s Donetsk region over the past day, according to regional authorities, as shelling continued across frontline settlements. Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin reported that 9 people were injured in Kramatorsk and two more in Druzhkivka as a result of Russian attacks. He added that the overall number of civilian casualties in the region continues to rise, excluding data from the occupied cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha.
