Kernel grain elevator in Khmelnytskyi region was hit by Russian UAVs on May 18, 2026.

This was reported by the company’s press service.

“As a result of the strike, storage tanks and grain warehouses were damaged. Due to the destruction, part of the grain was spilled. No employees of the enterprise were injured,” the statement said.

Kernel is assessing the scale of the damage and dealing with the aftermath of the attack.

Kernel is a producer and exporter of sunflower oil, as well as a leading supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea region to global markets. The company’s vertically integrated structure is built on closely linked business segments: production, export, and domestic sales of sunflower oil; high-tech crop farming; grain exports; and provision of grain storage and transshipment services at elevators and port terminals.
