Japan is resuming imports of Ukrainian poultry meat and eggs after five years of restrictions.

This was announced by Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan, Yurii Lutovynov.

He noted that the decision, adopted on 16 October by the Export and International Affairs Bureau of Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian producers and represents a significant step forward in developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

"We continue our joint efforts to expand access for Ukrainian products to the Japanese market and deepen bilateral economic cooperation," he concluded.
