In Zakarpattia, the renovated intermodal terminal “Eurobridge” has begun operations. It facilitates cross-border rail freight, connecting Ukraine logistically with Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, according to Viktor Mykyta, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Latifundist reports.
He noted that investments by the German company Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) in partnership with the Ukrainian investment fund Fortior Capital, totaling over UAH 120 million, will allow the terminal to handle around 100,000 containers per year this year, with potential for expansion.

Mykyta added that the terminal has created dozens of new jobs with competitive salaries and generates millions in revenue for the local budget.
