After the strike on the power system on the night of February 15, electricity was fully or partially restored to 60,500 households in Odessa region. Currently, 99,000 consumers remain without power, reported the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.
“The second day after the destructive strike on Odessa’s power system. Substations were damaged, and parts of the region and Odessa city are without electricity, heat, and water. The situation is difficult. Yesterday, electricity was fully or partially restored to 60,500 households in Odessa region. Temporarily, 99,000 consumers remain without power,” he wrote on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
According to him, at more than 20 locations, the operation of district heating distribution units will be supported by generators provided by the State Emergency Service, which have already arrived and continue to arrive.
In Odessa, 21 additional warming centers have been set up to support residents, where people can charge devices, warm up, and receive assistance during prolonged outages.
