Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has carried out 401 attacks on the infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group. In 2025 alone, 229 attacks were recorded, more than in the previous three years combined.

October 2025 was the most difficult month. Over the course of the month, 25 combined attacks were launched against the Group’s infrastructure.

Since 2022, more than 1,700 projectiles of different categories have been launched against Naftogaz Group facilities, including missiles, drones, and artillery, of which 1,399 were used in 2025.

2025 was unprecedented in terms of the scale of attacks on our infrastructure — the intensity of shelling was far higher than in the previous years of the war. Despite this, we continue to supply the country with gas and support the resilience of the energy system. I thank everyone who works every day to ensure that, despite terrorist attacks, Ukrainians have gas and heat in their homes,” said Naftogaz’s Chief Executive Officer Sergii Koretskyi.

A direct consequence of the attacks has been the loss of domestic production, which has forced the company to import additional volumes of gas to ensure the stable passage of the winter heating season.
