The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes carried out on April 16 and during the night against the “Podlyot” and “Nebo-M” radar stations, command posts, boat storage facilities, and other logistical targets of Russian forces in occupied Ukrainian territories as well as in Russia’s Kursk, Belgorod, and Rostov regions.
“Yesterday and on the night of April 17, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck enemy command posts, including a command observation post near the settlement of Dovhe (occupied Luhansk region), as well as UAV command posts in the areas of Tetkino (Kursk region, Russia), Uspenivka, and Zelene in Zaporizhzhia region,” the General Staff said in a Telegram statement on Friday.
It is also reported that a weapons and military equipment repair and maintenance base in Klynkyne (occupied Donetsk region), a logistics hub in Mangush (occupied Donetsk region), and a storage site for landing assault boats in Chornomorske (occupied Crimea) were struck.
In addition, the AFU targeted Russian ammunition depots in the areas of Skadovsk (occupied Kherson region), Panteleimonivka (occupied Donetsk region), and Dovzhansk ( occupied Luhansk region). Furthermore, a depot of material-technical supplies and a fuel and lubricants storage site were hit in the areas of Sabivka and Rovenky in Luhansk region respectively.
According to preliminary results, the destruction of a UAV laboratory in the Orlynskyi area (Donetsk region) on April 9, 2026 has been confirmed. As a result of combat operations on April 16, 2026, the destruction of a “Nebo-M” radar station in Chernovets (Belgorod region, Russia) was confirmed. The strike on a “Podlyot” radar station in Novomaryivka (Rostov region, Russia) on April 15, 2026 was also confirmed.
Russian losses and the extent of damage are being clarified.
