The Defense Forces of Ukraine on the night of July 16 struck six Russian tankers, two tugboats, an oil depot, bridges, and other military facilities of the Russian Federation’s armed forces.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
"Six tankers and two tugboats were hit in the waters of the Black and Azov seas. The tankers are used to transport Russian oil and petroleum products in circumvention of international sanctions, as well as to transport fuel in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the General Staff said.
The "Shakhtarsk" oil depot in Shakhtarsk, Donetsk region, was also hit. The extent of the damage and the results of the strike are being clarified.
In addition, a road bridge near Prymorsk in Zaporizhzhia region and the "Syvash" railway bridge near Chongar in occupied Crimea were hit. Russian forces use these facilities for military logistics.
A storage facility for Russian electronic warfare equipment near Novodarivka in Luhansk region was also hit.
