A new plant producing silicone hoses for European manufacturers of trucks, specialised vehicles and the shipbuilding industry will be established in Novoselytsia, Chernivtsi region.
The project will be implemented by Finnish company Reka Group, according to Ruslan Osypenko, head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration.
Total investment in the Reka Novo project will amount to €5 million.
“For the Novoselytsia territorial community, this means new jobs and additional budget revenues. For the region, it is another example that even during a full-scale war, it is possible to launch modern manufacturing in Bukovyna and attract foreign investment,” Osypenko said.
The first stage, scheduled for 2026–2027, will involve launching initial production capacity and creating more than 60 jobs. Production is expected to begin in January 2027.
The second stage, planned for 2028–2029, will involve expanding production and increasing the workforce to 160 employees.
