Drone attack damages warehouses, locomotive, and logistics in Pivdennyi port

Last night, Russian forces struck Pivdennyi port in the Odessa region with drones, destroying logistical elements and damaging warehouses, a locomotive, and production buildings, according to Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksiy Kuleba.

"In Odessa, the Russian army hit the port area with drones, destroying logistical elements, damaging warehouses, a locomotive, and production buildings. A fire broke out. Emergency services and port staff are working to eliminate the damage," he wrote on his Telegram channel Wednesday morning.

 

Earlier, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported that three people were injured during the overnight attack on the region. One person was hospitalized, while the others received medical assistance on-site.

According to Kiper, the attack also damaged a private residential building, administrative and warehouse facilities, cars, port infrastructure, and buildings on the grounds of an Orthodox monastery.
