Russian troops are currently regrouping and preparing for larger-scale offensive operations, which may intensify with the onset of foliage that will allow infiltration groups to be concealed.
This was stated on television by Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces grouping.
“The enemy is now regrouping and preparing for more large-scale offensives, when the so-called ‘green cover’ appears—that is, when vegetation grows and infiltration activities can be masked simply by trees,” Trehubov said.
According to him, a relative lull is currently observed in certain sections of the front compared to previous months.
He added that the Lyman direction remains the hottest area within the zone of responsibility.
