Russian forces have made advances near the villages of Bochkove in the Vovchansk community of Chuhuiv district and Ivashkyne in Kupiansk district, east of Vovchansk in Kharkiv region, as well as near Luhivske and Huliaipilske in Polohy district, southeast of the city of Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region, according to the OSINT project DeepState.
“The enemy has advanced near Bochkove, Ivashkyne, Luhivske and Huliaipilske,” the project reported on Telegram on Wednesday.
According to DeepState maps, Bochkove remains within the infiltration zone, or “grey zone,” but the area under Russian occupation north of the village has increased by 3.55 square kilometres, with the grey zone shrinking by the same amount.
A similar situation has been recorded near Ivashkyne, where Russian forces advanced towards the village and consolidated control over 4.19 square kilometres previously classified as part of the grey zone. The settlement itself remains within the infiltration zone.
In Zaporizhzhia region, Huliaipilske remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, while Luhivske had already been occupied by Russian forces. The area under Russian occupation there increased by 13.85 square kilometres, also outside populated areas, while the infiltration zone decreased by 5.55 square kilometres.
No changes were recorded on other sectors of the front over the past 24 hours.
Overall, Russian forces gained control of 21.99 square kilometres over the past day, while the infiltration zone decreased by 13.69 square kilometres.
Last week, the area under Russian occupation increased by an average of two square kilometres per day, while the infiltration zone expanded by a further 0.8 square kilometres per day.
