A nighttime drone attack by Russian forces on Odessa struck a residential area, killing two people and injuring two others, local authorities reported. The injured are currently hospitalized and receiving medical care.

According to the Odesa City Military Administration, the strike caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure. Dozens of private houses and apartment buildings were affected, along with a dormitory and a kindergarten building. Windows were shattered, while roofs and facades sustained heavy damage. Several food establishments were also hit.

Infrastructure facilities were among the targets of the attack, officials said.

Municipal services have been working at the scene since early morning to deal with the aftermath of the strike. Crews are boarding up broken windows, repairing damaged roofs, and clearing debris from affected areas.

In the Peresyp district, one of the hardest-hit areas, preliminary reports indicate damage to nine residential buildings, including around 60 broken windows and roof damage. More than 30 workers from the local housing and utility services company are involved in restoration efforts, working to return buildings to livable condition.
