ANIMA, the association based in Milan representing Italian manufacturers of machinery within the Confindustria system, has established a dedicated Ukraine Desk with the aim of supporting its member companies in participating in Ukraine’s reconstruction projects.
The ANIMA Ukraine Desk has been created in partnership with Ukraine Project Hub LLC (UPH), a consultancy firm founded in Odessa, the country’s maritime capital and a strategic hub for national exports. UPH is a well-established actor in southern Ukraine and is positioned to support companies seeking to contribute actively to the country’s economic recovery. By fostering strategic alliances, facilitating market entry, and directing investments towards projects aligned with local needs, it promotes effective collaboration between international investors and local stakeholders.
In cooperation with selected partners, UPH assists companies in navigating a complex and evolving market environment, while mitigating risks for foreign businesses. Its approach is grounded in the principle that successful operations in Ukraine require careful selection of local counterparts, based on competence and alignment with long-term development strategies.
UPH recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Regional Development Agency of Odessa, in order to support foreign investments and promote recovery projects in the Region.
To achieve these objectives, ANIMA and UPH have signed a cooperation agreement to provide the following services:
- Support for market entry and consolidation in Ukraine, including preliminary guidance, information sessions, and the sharing of relevant contacts
- Promotion of investment opportunities, industrial partnerships, and participation in reconstruction projects through informational materials, newsletters, and technical contributions within the ANIMA “Ukraine Reconstruction” Working Group
- Identification of local partners and strategic projects, with facilitation of relationships between member companies and Ukrainian institutional, financial, and industrial counterparts
- Sharing of tenders, financial instruments, market updates, and investment opportunities
