Power is out in Chornomorsk, Odesa region, and all settlements of the Chornomorsk community except for one village, following a nighttime attack by Russian forces.

Critical infrastructure is operating on generators, according to Chornomorsk mayor Vasyl Huliaiev.

"Civil infrastructure and private homes were damaged. Critical infrastructure is currently running on generators… Power in the community is out (except for the village of Burlacha Balka). DTEK specialists are already working on restoration," Huliaiev wrote on Facebook Thursday morning.

The mayor reported that there are casualties from the attack, without specifying the number, but no fatalities occurred. "Thank God, at this time there is no information about deaths, but there are casualties," he added.

"We are starting the deployment of Resilience Points. If needed, contact Emergency Services," Huliaiev said.
