A musical evening in support of Ukraine will be held in Mainz, strengthening the partnership between Mainz and Odessa.
The charity event will feature classical works by both international and Ukrainian composers.
Organized by the German-Ukrainian Society for Economic and Scientific Affairs e.V., with support from the Mainz–Odessa partnership, the program will include masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and works by prominent Ukrainian composers such as Yan Freidlin, Yevhen Stankovych, and Myroslav Skoryk.
Performers will include talented pianist Liza Holovnenko and renowned Ukrainian violinist Andriy Murza, a native of Odessa.

The event will take place on January 29 at 19:30 at Institut français Mainz, Schillerstraße 11, Mainz.
Pre-registration is required here: kultur.mainz@institutfrancais.de
All funds raised will be directed toward the purchase of mini-generators for Odessa, which, like many other cities in Ukraine, is suffering this winter from an energy collapse caused by Russian aggression.
