The Bulgarian Navy has discovered and identified the wreckage of several drones found along the country’s Black Sea coast, according to Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defence.
One of the drones was found on Kabakum Beach near Varna. A specialised team from the Varna Naval Base inspected the aircraft and determined that it contained no explosives. The wreckage was subsequently transported to the military base.

Another Navy team was dispatched to inspect an object found in the Black Sea near the town of Pomorie. Military personnel identified it as an unmanned aerial vehicle and destroyed it at sea while observing the necessary safety procedures.
The Bulgarian military also identified another drone found near Pasha Dere Beach, south of Varna. The aircraft was taken out to sea and destroyed.
A further drone fragment was discovered in the Black Sea near the Kamchia resort on the evening of August 25. An inspection determined that it was the wing of a military drone that had washed ashore and contained no munitions. The wreckage was transported to the Varna Naval Base.
