Turkey has presented Ukraine and Russia with proposals aimed at ending hostilities and attacks in the Black Sea.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this, according to the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency.
“Various proposals aimed at ending attacks in the Black Sea have been presented to Ukraine and Russia,” Fidan said.
The Turkish foreign minister also said that diplomatic proposals had been sent to all parties to the conflict in Yemen in an effort to end the war. According to him, ongoing Houthi attacks could create certain military needs for Saudi Arabia, which could be addressed jointly with Pakistan within the framework of the Mecca Agreement.
Fidan stressed that it was unacceptable for Saudi Arabia to be drawn into the war between the United States and Iran. In his assessment, the current crisis in the Middle East has reached its economic limits, making it necessary to end conflicts in the region and reduce tensions.
