On the night of March 13 (starting at 18:00 on March 12), the Russian forces attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Russia’s Rostov Oblast, as well as 126 strike UAVs, including Shahed loitering munition drones, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles launched from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiiske, Crimea in occupied Crimea. About 80 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 117 UAVs.
Hits by the ballistic missile and eight strike UAVs were recorded at seven locations, while debris from downed drones fell at five locations.
