On the night of May 20 (from 18:00 on May 19), the Russian forces attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Russia’s Rostov region and 154 strike UAVs of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and drone decoys of the “Parody” type, launched from directions including Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 131 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
A ballistic missile strike and 23 attack UAVs were recorded hitting 20 locations, as well as debris from downed drones falling at 6 locations.
