On the night of September 10 (starting from 18:00 on September 9), Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 149 Shahed-type strike UAVs, half of them jet-powered, as well as Gerbera drones and Parodiya-type decoy drones launched from Millerovo, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, temporarily occupied Donetsk, and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, Ukraine’s air defence shot down or suppressed 128 Russian UAVs, including Shahed and Gerbera drones and other types of UAVs.

Russian aerial weapons struck 13 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at nine locations.
