Russian forces launched another wave of attacks across Ukraine over the past day, killing at least seven civilians and injuring nearly 50 others as drones, guided bombs, artillery and aviation struck multiple regions.
Donetsk region suffered the deadliest attacks. Regional Governor Vadym Filashkin said four civilians were killed—two in Spasko-Mykhailivka and one each in Pryvillia and Druzhkivka—while 19 others were injured. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the region has recorded 4,240 civilian deaths and 9,979 injuries, excluding casualties in occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.
In Kherson region, Russian strikes killed three people and wounded 10 others. The attacks targeted dozens of settlements, including Kherson city, damaging three apartment buildings, eight private homes, a cultural institution and civilian vehicles. Regional Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said Russian forces used drones, aircraft and artillery to strike both critical infrastructure and residential neighborhoods.
Zaporizhzhia region came under one of the heaviest bombardments of the day. According to regional governor Ivan Fedorov, Russian forces carried out 1,107 attacks on 49 settlements. Fourteen people, including three children, were injured in Zaporizhzhia city and the surrounding district.
The attacks included 16 air strikes, 824 drones—mostly FPV UAVs—four multiple-launch rocket system attacks and 263 artillery strikes. Authorities received 161 reports of damage to homes, civilian infrastructure and vehicles.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces attacked four districts more than 30 times using drones and artillery. A 59-year-old man was injured in Nikopol district, where strikes damaged an agricultural enterprise, a fuel station and a shop. Fires also broke out in Synelnykove and Pavlohrad districts, while infrastructure was damaged in the Kamianske district.
Russian forces also targeted port infrastructure in Mykolaiv region with Shahed and Gerbera drones, damaging a civilian vessel. Additional FPV drone attacks damaged a transformer in the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities. No casualties were reported.
In Sumy, six people—including three children—were injured after Russian guided aerial bombs struck residential areas overnight. A 10-year-old boy remained under medical observation, while the other victims were treated without hospitalization. The attack destroyed and damaged private homes, but authorities said rescue operations concluded without any fatalities.
