The death toll from the Russian strike on the city of Druzhkivka in Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region, has risen to seven, with 15 people wounded, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Wednesday via Telegram.

"Seven dead and 15 injured are the result of a Russian strike on one of the local markets in Druzhkivka. Trading pavilions, warehouse buildings, and a car were damaged. Emergency responders provided first aid to the wounded on site and transported one man to the hospital," the report said.

Earlier reports indicated six dead and one injured.

"Russian forces fired cluster munitions at the city — hitting the market directly, where there is always a large gathering of people in the morning," wrote Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

In addition, the Russian forces dropped two aerial bombs on Druzhkivka, damaging an industrial area, three apartment buildings, and three private houses.
