7 people injured after Russian drone hits apartment building in Odessa

As a result of a Russian drone strike in Odessa, two floors of a residential building were partially destroyed, a fire broke out, and four people were injured.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak:

“As a result of an enemy UAV strike on a nine-story building, the first and second floors were partially destroyed. The building’s facade and balconies were damaged,” the post says.

The fire caused by the strike has been contained. According to the City Military Administration, a non-residential two-story building also caught fire.

At the moment, one injured person was reported. Necessary assistance was provided on site. Later, it was updated that four people were injured.

As of 7:00 a.m., as a result of two overnight attacks on the city, five people were injured. Two were hospitalized, two received on-site medical assistance, and one person refused hospitalization.

Multi-apartment residential buildings in different districts of the city, an administrative building, and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

According to preliminary data, 82 windows were shattered, 72 of which have already been boarded up. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore the damaged buildings are ongoing.

In Odessa, 7 people were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack overnight on June 1.
