President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that, as of today, the number of children successfully returned from under Russian control through the Bring Kids Back UA initiative has reached 2,000.
The Head of State shared this update on Telegram:
“Today we have an important result – 2,000 Ukrainian children have been brought home from under Russian control as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative. Each of these returns was made possible thanks to the daily work of our people, civil society organizations, and international partners. We are grateful to everyone who has joined this fight for the future of our children, our country, and the entire free world,” Zelensky stated.
The President emphasized that there is still a long and difficult road ahead. Thousands of Ukrainian children remain hostages of Russia, becoming victims of its crimes every day.
“But we will not stop until every Ukrainian child is safely back home,” the President assured.
