President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 200 Ukrainians have returned home as part of a prisoner exchange.

"Today, 200 Ukrainian families received the most awaited news: their loved ones are coming home. This is always great news for all of us and for the entire country – the return of our people to their native land. Among those returning are defenders from Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia – servicemen of the Armed Forces, the State Special Transport Service, border guards, and National Guard members."

"Every time our people come home, it proves that Ukraine works tirelessly to bring back every single person. No one is forgotten. We involve intermediaries. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine. Thank you to the United States for supporting this exchange. I am grateful to all our soldiers on the front lines who ensure the replenishment of the exchange pool for Ukraine. Bringing our people home is the result of the strength of our Ukrainian defenders."
