1,700 km deep: Ukraine strikes Su-57 and Su-34 Jets in Russia

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on Russian Su-57 and Su-34 aircraft at the Shagol airfield in Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation on April 25.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook.

“The results of measures to reduce the enemy’s ability to strike civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine have been confirmed,” the statement said.

 

On April 25, 2026, at the Shagol airfield in Chelyabinsk region of Russia, several Su-57 fighter jets and a Su-34 fighter-bomber were hit by units of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.

The targets were located at a distance of approximately 1,700 km from Ukraine’s state border.
