The Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories has completed the selection of communities to participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026.
This was announced on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Oleksii Kuleba.
“Out of 356 applications submitted, 102 communities from across Ukraine were selected — from western regions to frontline, affected, and temporarily occupied territories. Among them are communities from Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odessa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, among others,” Kuleba wrote.
The evaluation was carried out based on criteria including international cooperation, strategic planning, investment readiness, anti-corruption activity, and inter-municipal cooperation.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 will take place on 25–26 June in Gdańsk. The main topics of the event will be energy, critical infrastructure, logistics, and reconstruction.
According to Kuleba, the conference will bring together governments, international financial institutions, businesses, and communities around practical solutions for Ukraine’s reconstruction, and will give communities the opportunity to work directly with donors and international partners.
