Over the past week, Russia launched 2,800–3,000 unmanned aerial vehicles at Ukraine, according to a broadcast statement by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat.
“2,800–3,000 is roughly the weekly figure. These are drones for which we provide statistics every morning. In addition, there are also ‘Molniya,’ ‘Lancet,’ and others,” he said.
Ihnat emphasized that the main challenge for Ukraine remains the Shahed drone, which is significantly different in its technical characteristics from the version used at the start of the war.
“The Shahed is completely different from what it was at the beginning of the invasion. These are now two different types of aircraft. It can resist electronic warfare by using specific elements on its antennas,” he added.
