Russian forces carried out widespread attacks across several regions of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, causing deaths, injuries, and extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
The heaviest strikes were recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region, where Russian forces launched 1,006 attacks on 49 settlements, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov. The strikes included 24 air attacks, 732 drone attacks and 249 artillery strikes, as well as rocket artillery fire.
Fedorov said Russian aviation and drones targeted dozens of settlements, including Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv, Huliaipole and many surrounding villages. He added that the region remains under constant pressure, with 52 separate reports of damage to homes, infrastructure, vehicles and non-residential buildings. Three people were injured in the Zaporizhzhia district.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian strikes killed eight people and injured 11 others, regional officials said. The attacks hit several districts, including Nikopol, Synelnykove and Kryvyi Rih. Authorities reported widespread destruction of residential buildings, infrastructure and gas pipelines. In the Synelnykove area alone, multiple homes were destroyed, with fatalities reported, while Kryvyi Rih saw both civilian and industrial damage.
In the Donetsk region, Russian forces killed one civilian in Malotaranivka and injured four others across the region over the past day, according to regional authorities. Officials noted that the total casualty figures do not include occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.
The Kherson region also came under sustained fire, where three civilians were injured as Russian forces used drones, artillery and air strikes across more than 40 settlements. Regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said damage was reported to apartment buildings, private homes, a water tower, a church, vehicles and agricultural facilities.
In the Poltava region, Russian drones struck an electrical substation in the regional center, causing power outages for more than 6,500 households and 548 businesses. Regional authorities said residential buildings were also damaged, though no casualties were reported.
In Kharkiv, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported two Russian strikes. According to initial information, drone debris fell on a roadway in Shevchenkivskyi district with no casualties reported. In the Kharkivskyi district, an infrastructure facility was hit, causing a fire at the site of impact. No injuries have been reported so far.
