The transition of the United States to diplomacy in the military conflict around Iran, as well as the ceasefire, creates additional opportunities to end conflicts and strengthen security.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address on Telegram.
“Today, the United States has shifted to diplomacy in the situation around Iran, and the world supports this. A ceasefire always creates more opportunities for diplomacy and should precede the real end of a war,” he noted.
The President emphasized that Ukraine has adhered to a similar approach from the very beginning in the war of Russia against Ukraine.
“Of course, it is not easy to implement, and efforts are still needed in the Middle East to stabilize the ceasefire so that it works. But ultimately, the goal for everyone should be the same—greater security,” the head of state stressed.
