UKRNAFTA starts supplying European Arctic diesel to Ukraine

The UKRNAFTA filling station network has contracted European-produced Arctic diesel fuel from Orlen and begun supplying it to Ukraine, with the first batches already delivered, Ukrnafta CEO Bohdan Kukura said.

“As weather conditions and market needs change, diesel fuel with the appropriate temperature characteristics will be available across the network — from transitional-grade to winter and Arctic diesel,” Kukura explained.

He noted that during periods of increased demand last autumn and winter, UKRNAFTA increased imports and is also preparing in advance for the 2026/2027 season by building the necessary stocks and ensuring diversified and reliable supply channels.

“Our task is to ensure the stable availability of high-quality petroleum products and to adapt supply quickly to weather conditions and changes in demand,” Kukura stressed.

Ukrnafta is Ukraine’s largest oil producer and operates across the full production cycle, including exploration, oil and gas production and oilfield services. It also manages UKRNAFTA, Ukraine’s largest network of filling stations.

The company has more than 1,106 oil wells and 131 gas wells on its balance sheet.
