Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a site used for the storage, preparation and launch of attack drones near Hvardiiske, as well as an Orion UAV control station in Novofedorivka in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
On the night of August 17, the Defense Forces struck a site used for the storage, preparation and launch of attack UAVs near Hvardiiske. A fire was recorded at the facility.
In addition, an Orion UAV ground control station in Novofedorivka was hit.
Ukrainian forces also struck a ground-based relay station used to control Geran/Gerbera attack UAVs in Olenivka, Crimea, as well as a communications and power supply point for a UAV relay station on the Tendra Spit in the Kherson region.
The extent of the damage is being assessed.
