In the south of the Odesa region, two people were injured as a result of a massive Russian attack.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, a hospital and residential buildings sustained significant damage, and a fire broke out in a nature reserve. A 56-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man were injured.
The woman was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds, and doctors assess her condition as serious.
As a result of a strike UAV hit, the district hospital was damaged: the admissions department was completely destroyed, while the therapeutic, cardiology, and surgical departments, as well as ultrasound, X-ray rooms, and others, sustained significant damage.
There were no casualties at the hospital. At the time of the attack, medical staff and patients were in a shelter. Patients have now been transferred to another department.
A fire was also recorded on the territory of the Danube Biosphere Reserve.
Relevant services are working at the sites. Efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing. Law enforcement agencies are documenting another war crime committed by the Russian Federation.
