In the Poltava region, part of the gas production facilities stopped operating on March 8 as a result of a Russian drone attack.
This was reported by the Naftogaz Group.
“For the second consecutive day, Russia has carried out massive attacks on Naftogaz Group gas production facilities in the Poltava region. The strikes were conducted using drones,” the statement said.
Naftogaz emphasized that there were no casualties.
“Company specialists, together with units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, are working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks. Damage assessment is ongoing,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The company also thanked rescuers and employees for their prompt work in difficult conditions.
