Air defence systems, drones and ammunition for Ukraine’s Defence Forces were among the key results of the 36th meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group in the Ramstein format.
Following the meeting, Ukraine’s partners announced new contributions aimed at strengthening the country’s capabilities on the battlefield.
Germany announced new deliveries of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems and F-16 aircraft, as well as the procurement of drones.
The United Kingdom will allocate £100 million for the supply of US-made weapons through the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) mechanism. The UK will also provide an additional 95,000 drones by the end of the year and tens of thousands of extended-range artillery shells funded by other countries.
The Netherlands announced a $300 million contribution to the Drone Line project and the delivery of 300 counter-UAV missiles.
Estonia will continue supporting Ukraine in 2027 at a level of at least 0.25% of its GDP.
Norway will provide its previously announced $200 million package for the procurement of Patriot missiles.
Spain will allocate €2 million for fuel through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency. Spanish assistance will also include air defence missiles and artillery ammunition.
Lithuania announced a $10 million contribution to PURL.
Poland is preparing a new €50 million assistance package that will include air defence systems.
Sweden will provide a $28 million support package, including a $14 million contribution to PURL.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine expressed its gratitude to every partner supporting Ukraine’s defence and helping strengthen the Defence Forces on the battlefield.
