The lower house of the Irish parliament, the Dáil Éireann, has ratified the Convention on the Establishment of an International Compensation Commission for Ukraine.
Irish Minister of State for European Affairs Thomas Byrne announced this on the social media platform X.
“I am glad to confirm Ireland’s support for the Convention Establishing an International Claims Commission for Ukraine,” he wrote.

The Irish minister welcomed the ratification of the Convention by the country’s parliament.
“Russia must be held accountable for the severe damage it has caused in Ukraine,” Byrne stated.
