The Finnish government will send Ukraine a new defense aid package worth approximately 128 million euros.
This was announced in a press release by Finland’s Ministry of Defence.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb approved the decision on May 29, 2026, following a proposal from the government.
This will be Finland’s 33rd package of military assistance to Ukraine. Its value amounts to around 128 million euros.
The statement notes that the total value of defense materials supplied by Finland to Ukraine has now reached 3.4 billion euros.
For operational reasons and to ensure the aid reaches its destination, more detailed information regarding the contents of the package, delivery methods, or schedule will not be disclosed.
Both Ukraine’s needs and the resources of the Finnish Defence Forces were taken into account when making the decision.
