As a result of a Russian drone strike on a residential building in Odessa, four people were injured, and one of the building’s entrances suffered significant damage.
Odessa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov reported this on Telegram, noting that an emergency response team is working near the damaged building.
“Rescuers freed five people who were trapped on the upper floors, including two children. All of them are receiving the necessary assistance,” he wrote.
Three of the injured have been hospitalized.
According to the mayor, a preliminary inspection showed that one of the building’s entrances sustained serious damage and is unsafe to remain in.
“After the removal of hazardous structures, experts will carry out a detailed assessment of the building’s condition — this will help determine the next steps,” Trukhanov added.
