Denmark becomes 34th state to back Special Tribunal on Russia’s aggression

Denmark has informed the Council of Europe of its intention to join the agreement on establishing a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced this on X.

“Denmark officially joins the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression Against Ukraine, becoming the 34th state to notify the Council of Europe,” Sybiha wrote.

He also noted that the enlarged partial agreement required to launch the Special Tribunal is expected to be approved this Friday, May 15, during a meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Chișinău.
