Russian attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day killed two people and injured at least 54, damaging homes, businesses, railway infrastructure and other civilian facilities.
In Donetsk region, one person was killed and 29 injured on September 10. The fatality was recorded in Kramatorsk, where 22 people were also injured. Two people were wounded in Sloviansk, two in Bilenke, two in Spasko-Mykhailivka and one in Malotaranivka.
According to regional authorities, Russian attacks have killed 4,292 civilians and injured 10,417 in Donetsk region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, excluding casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
In Sumy region, Russian forces carried out 45 attacks on 21 settlements between the mornings of September 10 and 11, using artillery, mortars, guided aerial bombs and drones. Thirteen people were injured, including four children.
Twelve civilians were injured in the Sumy community by guided aerial bombs, while a 44-year-old woman was injured in a drone strike. A shopping centre, shops, apartment and private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
Regional authorities also reported that a woman injured in a Russian strike on a train in Sumy district on September 8 had died in hospital.
In Kherson region, nine people were injured as Russian forces attacked 43 settlements with aircraft, drones and artillery. An apartment building, six private houses, an administrative building, a farm, vehicles and other property were damaged.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, three people were injured in more than 10 Russian attacks involving drones and artillery. Two men were wounded in Dnipro, where trucks caught fire on the premises of a private company. Another person was injured in the Nikopol district, where private houses and a car were damaged. Infrastructure was also hit in the Kamianske district.
In Kharkiv region, two people were injured in Zolochiv as Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and five other settlements. A 49-year-old man was wounded and a 76-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Five homes, an administrative building and a cultural facility were damaged in Zolochiv.
In Kharkiv itself, attacks damaged a medical facility and an ambulance, while railway infrastructure was damaged in Barvinkove. Russian forces used four guided aerial bombs and 26 drones in attacks across the region.
In Kyiv, a Russian attack damaged a nine-storey residential building in the Dniprovskyi district. The facade caught fire from the first to fifth floors, while an apartment on the second floor also burned. Rescuers evacuated seven people and handed another seven over to ambulance crews for medical assistance.
A warehouse also caught fire in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district following a Russian attack on the evening of September 10. The fire was extinguished without casualties.
In Kyiv region, Russian strikes caused a fire at warehouses in the Bucha district overnight. Emergency crews continued fighting the blaze despite a second Russian strike during the response operation. No casualties were reported.
In Zhytomyr region, a private enterprise in the Ovruch community was damaged in a Russian drone attack. A fire broke out at the site but was brought under control by emergency crews. No casualties were reported.
In Zaporizhzhia, a 32-year-old woman and her 10-year-old son were injured during a large-scale Russian drone attack overnight. Both received medical assistance.
The attack damaged the roof of a nine-storey residential building, where a fire spread across about 80 square metres. A shopping centre was also hit, causing a 500-square-metre fire, while another fire broke out in an office building.
Emergency crews were repeatedly forced to interrupt firefighting and take shelter because of the threat of further strikes. All fires were eventually extinguished.
