At least 12 killed, 49 injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine

Russian attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day killed at least six civilians and injured 34 others, including children, while damaging homes, infrastructure, businesses and transport facilities.

In Kyiv region, five people, including a child, were injured during the overnight attack. In the village of Skybyn in Brovary district, a two-story private house was partially destroyed and two neighboring homes were damaged. Rescue workers pulled three people from beneath the rubble.

In Kyiv itself, emergency services extinguished fires caused by the attack at market pavilions in the Obolonskyi district, a garage cooperative and a five-story non-residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. Preliminary reports said one person was killed and two others injured.

 

 

In Dnipropetrovsk region, six people were killed and 10 others injured. In the Novopillia community of Kryvyi Rih district, a Russian missile strike killed six people, including a six-year-old girl and two boys aged 11 and 17. 8 others were injured in the attack. An 84-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition, while a 49-year-old woman and boys aged six and 15 were taken to hospital with moderate injuries. Several private homes were destroyed.

Russian drones also attacked Nikopol district, targeting Nikopol city and the Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets communities. A 26-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were injured, while a fuel station was damaged.

 

 

In Kharkiv region, seven people were injured, including three children, after Russian forces struck 17 settlements. The attacks involved five missiles, seven guided aerial bombs and more than 50 drones, including Geran-2, Molniya and FPV UAVs.

In Zolochiv, strikes damaged two apartment buildings, 18 private homes and three vehicles, while an 86-year-old woman was injured. In Valky, a 16-year-old boy was wounded and a 60-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Four more people, including boys aged three and 13, were affected in Orilka. Russian attacks also damaged power networks, civilian enterprises, railway infrastructure and an ambulance across the region.

In Donetsk region, Russian attacks killed three civilians and wounded seven others on July 29. One person was killed and six injured in Raihorodok, one person was killed and another injured in Sloviansk, while a third civilian was killed in Druzhkivka.

Regional authorities said 4,243 civilians have been killed and 9,992 injured in Donetsk region since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, excluding casualties in occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.

In Kherson region, two people were killed and 10 injured, including a child, as Russian forces used drones, aircraft and artillery against 37 settlements.

The strikes damaged seven apartment buildings and nine private homes, as well as a mobile communications tower, a shop, a fuel station, agricultural buildings, a bus and private vehicles.

Zaporizhzhia region came under 850 Russian attacks against 52 settlements over the past day. Three people were injured in Zaporizhzhia city and the surrounding district.

Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces carried out 16 air strikes, 244 artillery attacks and launched 590 drones of various types, mostly FPV UAVs. Authorities received 45 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings and vehicles.

In Mykolaiv region, Russian forces carried out combined drone attacks using Shahed, Molniya and Banderol UAVs. Port infrastructure in Mykolaiv was hit, damaging a warehouse and the roof of an apartment building.

Drone debris damaged two warehouses in Bashtanka, while attacks on the Snihurivka community damaged three private homes, an ambulance and an administrative building. Three homes were also damaged in Dmytrivka, while a tractor was hit in the Stepove community. No casualties were reported.

In Cherkasy region, debris from Russian missiles and drones damaged residential property and an agricultural enterprise overnight. In the Uman district, missile debris caused fires in a non-residential building and an outbuilding, while drone debris damaged several homes in the Zolotonosha district.

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted nine Russian missiles and 16 drones over the region. No injuries were reported.

In Zhytomyr region, five people, including three children, were injured in an overnight Russian missile and drone attack. According to regional Governor Vitaliy Bunechko, a Russian strike hit an agricultural enterprise in Korosten district. The blast wave damaged residential buildings and social infrastructure.

Three children and two adults were taken to hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment. Emergency crews, police and local authorities are working at the site to document the damage and deal with the aftermath of the attack.
